US Nationals, farewell America and hello Europe

After a good few weeks training in Bozeman I left for Houghton, Michigan on new years morning.

My last view of Bozeman! Might be back next season. My last view of Bozeman! Might be back next season.

Unfortunately my flight from Denver to Chicago was delayed enough that I missed my connection in Chicago. This resulted in a hotel stay in Chicago which actually turned out to be one of the fanciest hotels I had ever stayed in.

After a quick 5 and a half hours sleep it was back to the Chicago airport to try and get on a flight to Houghton as an emergency on some fully booked flights. Luckily I fit on the first flight out and after a mid air turn around and a change of planes back in Chicago I finally arrived into Houghton in the early afternoon. It was good to be there!
