Jetlag, Water Slides and European Boat People

Half an Adventure

I am writing this from our little piece of Alpine fantasy land, Seefeld. It’s the kind of town where the shops are moderately expensive, the views are always perfect, the people are friendly and everyone seems pretty happy. We have been here for five days now so I think it’s time for another update.


Our training has mainly been about getting over our jet-lag and getting used to skiing again. We do a morning run, which is always quite cold and often slippery, then a morning and an afternoon ski session, focussing on technique.
